Chiropractic has evolved and adapted with the ongoing development of evidence-based science. This approach to Chiropractic sees the body as a biochemical composition that obeys the laws of chemistry, physics, and mechanics. Disease and dysfunction can be and is often multi-factorial, and the holistic vantage point of Chiropractic allows for the investigation of complex multi-system interactions that affect one another. Diagnosis involves the use of current scientific evidence, the intimate understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as understanding the step by step process of disease and dysfunction, all in order to determine best course of treatment. Treatment may or may not be limited to the vertebra, and it may or may not involve a Chiropractic adjustment to those vertebra. The goal of Chiropractic treatment is to properly identify and correct the underlying cause of the disease and dysfunction, and the Chiropractic adjustment is one of many tools used in order to reach that end. In addition to Chiropractic adjustments, the utilization of diet and nutrition therapy, physiotherapy, myofascial manipulation, strength and conditioning, exercise and fitness, or other various manual therapy techniques can be used in any combination in order to provide the best possible outcomes. Treatment techniques are broad and varied depending on what has been scientifically shown to have the best clinical outcomes.

Chiropractors will not be the primary treating physician for many conditions, but there may be correlating conditions that they can address while working together with other medical specialists to deliver the best care available. This allows Chiropractors to address a myriad of health concerns that can include conditions of the musculoskeletal system, neurological system, gastrointestinal system, endocrine system, and the different organ systems of the body.

This is how we view Chiropractic here at Muveology.
